Snake: Our Collaborative Art Project
At our Easter Egg Hunt, two bright-eyed neighborhood girls led a delightful rock painting craft. They had already decorated a large rock shaped like a snake’s head and guided the other children in painting smaller rocks, which would later form the snake's body. After the egg hunt, the girls placed the snake in one of our common areas and invited the kids to keep adding rocks, growing the "pet" rock snake over time.
Little by little, the snake has transformed into a colorful, collaborative art project, created by the children of Tall Timbers. It's become a fun, almost hidden gem to spot during family walks, a reminder of the creativity and community spirit that thrives here. This whimsical project truly embodies what we can accomplish when we come together as a neighborhood!
